Rather than just going for the most popular, we have tried to "dig deeper" to discover anti aging recipes & dishes that you would not always see everyday.
The area of the Mediterranean is a particularly good place to find great anti aging recipes, as much of the lifestyle there is based upon the Mediterannean Diet which in actual fact is not a diet to help you lose weight, it's
actually a "lifelong eating plan!".
The principles we have worked to in our pursuit of these anti aging recipes is quite simple, they are all from areas of the world where FRESH grains & pulses, vegetables, herbs & spices and fish & meat are all in abundant availability, as this tends to be the trigger to find these healthy lifestyle dishes.
Most of the ingredients for these recipes should be freely available at your local Asian Market, or if not look out for the better quality Food Markets that should carry most ingredients.
Some of the ingredients are perhaps less well known – baby artichokes, kohlrabi, cardoon, colocasia, couscous and cracked wheat, harissa paste, vine leaves, rose and orange blossom essences.
If these and other ingredients in Mediterranean or anti aging recipes are not available to you, look out for them when you go travelling.
